Course Objectives

What will this course do?

Completion of an EASA Part 145 Form 1 is not just a necessary legal procedure to declare the airworthiness of maintenance your team has undertaken on a component, product or appliance; the process should be viewed as an important defence that protects you and your organisation from safety, financial or reputational risk. This skills-focused course is aimed at developing you and your team’s competence in fulfilling this function. It is a practical and value-adding alternative for those seeking EASA Part 145 continuation training for their Certifying Staff.

What will I learn?

By the end of this course you will understand:

  • Your responsibilities and accountabilities as Certifying Staff
  • The privileges and limitations within the scope of your Organisation Approval
  • The purpose of Form 1 and its different uses
  • How to complete and audit Form 1s
  • The interaction between different approvals at the same organisation.
Benefits of attending – for you and your organisation

You will know how to:

  • Explain your accountabilities and responsibilities as either Certifying Staff or Authorised Release to Service staff
  • Complete Form 1s
  • Contribute to protecting your organisation from safety, reputational or financial risks.
Who is it aimed at?
This tailored workshop is aimed at current and potential Certifying Staff and Authorised Release to Service staff.
