Keeping up-to-date with the regulations to maintain compliance, as well as ensuring your Safety Management System (SMS) delivers results, can be a challenge. Given your day-to-day experience, what do terms such as ‘Error Management’ and ‘Just Culture’ really mean to your organisation? What about reporting – is it delivering real value to your operation or has a complacent attitude developed? Perhaps after many years in operation your SMS has lost momentum. How do you reignite the interest in Human Factors and Error Management across your organisation?

How will this course benefit me?
It is human nature to drift into patterns of behaviour that make our lives easier, often at the expense of unforeseen risks to safety. These natural short cuts can ironically increase the amount of re-work, turn backs and unnecessary costs due to the unexpected consequences they bring about. Recurrent human factors training is an essential element in keeping these erroneous behaviours paramount in the minds of your personnel and ensuring staff remain vigilant to system induced errors and error promoting conditions.
This course meets the requirements of all staff who need to complete Human Factors continuation training to comply with AMC EASA Part 145 A.30. As this requires feedback on Human Factors issues to be collected and passed back to quality departments, we only offer this course via face-to-face delivery. As well as enabling us to tailor the course to your needs, the two-way conversation builds understanding of any issues your organisation is facing, thus affording the opportunity to bring improvement through systemic changes.
Giving you up-to-date awareness of the latest Human Factors and Error Management issues, it provides you with the opportunity to enhance key skills such as communication, teamwork and situational awareness. You will leave with renewed motivation to contribute fully to the success of your organisation’s Human Factors and Error Management programmes.
Completing this course will:
  • Refresh your understanding human performance capabilities & limitations, human factors and the potential impact on your daily routine
  • Develop your safety awareness and your competence in promoting a Safety Culture
  • Enable you to review and utilise the data from your Error Management Reporting System for effective corrective actions
  • Raise your awareness of current Human Factors issues and enhance your contribution to the continuing increase of safety, quality and efficiency within your operations
  • Provide compliance with all aspects of AMC EASA Part 145 A.30.
