Part 21 Subpart J - Understanding & Optimising your Design Organisation Approval (DOA)

TR24M01 | 2 days

Managing a busy Design Organisation is a constant challenge and regulatory requirements are often perceived to add to the burden. Part 21 was created to help boost the competitiveness of the aviation industry by promoting efficient regulatory and certification processes and lowering industry certification liaison effort. So, even though you are generating a compliant design, how well did you perform its execution? How does the regulation interface with your existing management system - and how can you ensure your DOA will deliver value to your organisation?

Frequently asked questions

I see that this course and TR24M17 both cover the roles and responsibilities of CVEs. What’s the difference between them?

This course gives you a thorough overview of the requirements of the Part 21 Subpart J regulation and considers how it influences a CVE’s daily responsibilities. Our TR24M17 course focuses entirely on the role of a CVE in the Design Assurance System and goes into far more detail into how to design for compliance.
