Nick Landauer

With experience as a senior manager within the Flight Operations division of the UK CAA, Nick Landauer brings clients a wealth of expertise in Air Operations regulations and auditing. During his long career with the CAA, Nick also devised and delivered Quality and Risk Management training.

Training: A skilled developer of and trainer in aviation regulations, Quality, and Risk Management courses
Audit and Audit Management: A qualified Lead Auditor, Nick has a wealth of experience in assisting clients with their audit capabilities
Inspection and Oversight: Nick’s standardisation background means he is well placed to help Regulator clients develop and hone their inspection and oversight capabilities
Career background and experience
Nick was with the CAA for 35 years, during which time he participated in and led a number of significant projects including, the implementation of EU-OPS in the UK CAA and in UK fixed-wing AOC holders in 2007/8, and in 2013/14, the implementation of a further revised set of regulations - EASA-OPS - across the whole operating industry, including specific responsibility for Flight Operations' compliance with the new Authority Requirements.

Nick also represented the UK CAA in various international forums, including at the IATA IOSA and ISAGO Oversight Committees and, as UK National Standardisation Co-ordinator, at European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Standardisation meetings.
