Tom brings practical experience in flight operations, crew training, and aviation leadership to his work with Baines Simmons. His 25+year aviation career spans military, corporate and general aviation.
Tom's training and consulting portfolio covers: Safety Risk Management, Human Factors, Investigator Skills, and Just Culture. He has a particular interest in how leadership, organisational culture and human behaviour influence safety, and how organisations can learn effectively from events.
As a trainer and facilitator, Tom takes an open, engaging approach, combining operational examples with discussion that encourages delegates to question assumptions and connect learning to their own roles. His aim is to make complex subjects accessible, relevant and useful.
