Anyone can read the regulations. However, not all of part 145 is applicable to all organisations. Staff in component organisations very often have a different background to aircraft maintenance organisations which doesn't always include Part 145. Being skilled in managing the intent of the regulation allows you to develop an efficient & effective approach to the management system requirements. This will enable the control of safety, compliance and all other
aspects to contribute to business benefits rather than being seen as a burden.

Yes, absolutely. The content recognises the broad scope of personal experience and backgrounds within B, C & D rated organisations and that the level of training they may have experienced will vary. Through participating in this course your staff will gain a credible baseline of knowledge from which to move forward safely and effectively.
The regulation requires that you have a management system and within that you manage safety. This not only means that you must ensure what happens within your organisation is safe within the definition of the regulation but also the aircraft to which your parts are fitted must also be safe. Effective integration of your management systems will ensure that this takes place effectively giving you both benefits to business and to the scope of your approval.
