Roles and Responsibilities Associated with Subpart O (ETSO/UKTSO)

This one-day course takes a practical approach to Subpart O of Part 21. It provides the necessary insight to ensure your organisation is fully compliant to obtain and maintain approval, to allow the intelligent adoption of the regulatory intent, without adding any unnecessary bureaucracy which could stifle innovation and creativity that is so essential for the design of TSO applications.

Using industry experience and examples of best practice, you will explore the key features of the Part 21 Subpart O regulation so that you will not only be able to ensure your organisation is fully compliant, but also that compliance is achieved with minimum disruption to the existing management system.

This practitioner level course is specifically designed for Design and Production Organisations who hold (or intend to hold) approval for ETSO/UKTSO.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course and no specific prior knowledge is needed, however a basic understanding of Part 21 Subpart G / J will aid your understanding.


Course details
Course format: This course can be delivered virtually or in-person on a site suitable to the client. It is a balanced mix of group discussions, case studies, flipchart work and presentations. Managed syndicate exercises give you the opportunity to practice the application and evaluation of new processes and techniques.
Course level: Practitioner Level Training (P) is suitable for those who have worked in the subject for some time, are familiar with core terminologies and concepts and are looking to develop or update their level of knowledge and practical understanding..
Assessment process: No formal assessment. Formative feedback is provided by the facilitator.
Course size: 16 persons maximum at our Aviation Safety Academy or on-site at your facility.
