EASA Part-145/FAA 145 – Continuation Training for Organisations with Joint Approvals

Organisations with an EASA Part 145 approval are required to ensure their certifying and support staff receive continuation training within a two year period.

In addition, operating as an FAA repair station outside of the United States means that you have certain obligations you must meet in order to fulfil the FAA Part 145 requirements. In 2011, the bilateral safety agreement between Europe and the USA introduced significant change that permeates from regulatory oversight all the way through to individuals working within FAA-approved organisations. No specific prior knowledge regarding EASA is required to join the course. However, we recommend that initial EASA Part 145 training such as TR02 EASA Part 145 – Successfully Applying the Regulation is completed first.

Course details

Course format: This course is a balanced mix of group discussions, flipchart work and PowerPoint presentations. Managed syndicate exercises give you the opportunity to practise the application and evaluation of new processes and techniques.
Course level: Practitioner Level Training (P) is suitable for those who have worked in the subject for some time, are familiar with core terminologies and concepts and are looking to develop or update their level of knowledge and practical understanding.
Assessment process: Course assessment and feedback from the facilitator.
Course size: 16 persons maximum at our Aviation Safety Academy or on-site at your facility.
