Ralf Zink

Ralf is a highly experienced consulting airworthiness surveyor. He is a specialist in Certificate of Airworthiness initial issues/renewals, airworthiness reviews and physical aircraft surveys on any type of aircraft. He is an authorised airworthiness surveyor for the issue and renewals of Certificates of Airworthiness, including export Certificates of Airworthiness for aircraft registered with the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry. Ralf brings enormous international experience to clients of Baines Simmons.

A specialist assessor, Ralf has 5 years experience working for the German Aviation Authority (LBA) acting as assessor for EASA licence candidates.
Consults using his experience includes vast regulatory knowledge in various national authority requirements that enables him to operate and provide pragmatic solutions
Advises regulatory authorities using his international experiences, connection and understanding into to all major aviation authorities, including EASA, FAA, FOCA, Bermuda, Cayman, Aruba, Isle of Man, Libyan CAA, Nigerian CAA.
Career background and experience

Ralf has worked within the civil aviation industry for 24 years, with over 10 years in a Quality organisation. He started his career at the German aircraft manufacturer Dornier. He gained enormous experience in new airworthiness certification development and flight tests as well as line and base maintenance setups. Ralf is an EASA Part 66 B1, C, CNP Licence holder covering various types of airliner & business jets, turboprop and jet A/C. He has held a wide variety of airworthiness review staff authorisations.
